Ingredients
- Habanero Peppers3 each
- High-Proof Vodka250 ml
Method
- 1.Slice habaneros in half, keeping seeds for more heat (or remove for less).
- 2.Add to vodka in a jar.
- 3.Steep for 24-48 hours, tasting every 12 hours.
- 4.Strain once desired heat level is reached.
- 5.Bottle in a dasher bottle. Use gloves when handling.
Notes
- Shelf stable indefinitely.
- Extremely potent — 1-2 dashes per drink is usually plenty.
- Great in margaritas, Palomas, Bloody Marys, and tropical drinks.
