Ingredients

Method

  1. 1.Toast dried chiles in a dry pan for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. 2.Break chiles open and add to vodka in a jar.
  3. 3.Steep for 48 hours, shaking occasionally.
  4. 4.Fine strain through cheesecloth.
  5. 5.Bottle — this is a tincture, use in dashes.

Notes

  • Shelf stable for months due to high proof.
  • Use sparingly — 2-3 dashes per cocktail for gentle heat.
