Ingredients
- Dried Chile de Arbol6 each
- High-Proof Vodka200 ml
Method
- 1.Toast dried chiles in a dry pan for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 2.Break chiles open and add to vodka in a jar.
- 3.Steep for 48 hours, shaking occasionally.
- 4.Fine strain through cheesecloth.
- 5.Bottle — this is a tincture, use in dashes.
Notes
- Shelf stable for months due to high proof.
- Use sparingly — 2-3 dashes per cocktail for gentle heat.
