By accessing or using BarCheat at barcheat.getpanko.app or the BarCheat iOS app (the “Service”), operated by Panko, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BarCheat is a free recipe scaling and reference tool designed for bartenders and hospitality professionals. The Service provides a batch calculator, a library of cocktail recipes, unit conversion tools, and the ability to save and organize your own recipes locally on your device.

3. No Account Required

BarCheat does not require an account, registration, or login. All features are available immediately. Recipe data is stored locally on your device.

4. Recipe Library & Intellectual Property

Our Recipe Library

The recipes in our library, including the “World Famous” section, are AI recreations based on publicly available information, published interviews, books, and common bartending knowledge. They have been carefully researched and tested but we do not claim to represent the exact proprietary recipes of any establishment. These recreations are provided for educational and reference purposes.

If you are a bar, restaurant, or rights holder and believe a recipe infringes on your intellectual property, please contact us at legal@getpanko.app. We will promptly review and, if appropriate, remove or modify the content.

Your Recipes

You retain full ownership of any recipes you create or save in BarCheat. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. Your recipes are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

5. Disclaimers

No warranty on recipes.All recipes on BarCheat are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, safety, or suitability of any recipe. Users assume all risk when preparing recipes found on the platform.

Allergens & dietary restrictions. Recipes may contain allergens or ingredients that are unsuitable for certain dietary needs. Always verify ingredients before preparation, especially when serving others.

Responsible service. BarCheat is a tool for professionals. Always follow local laws and regulations regarding alcohol service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Panko and BarCheat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from recipes prepared using information found on the platform or service interruptions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: engage in any activity that is illegal or harmful; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; use automated tools to scrape or extract recipe data in bulk; or engage in any activity that disrupts the Service for other users.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York, NY.
