Ingredients
- Tequila Blanco2 oz
- Grapefruit Juice2 oz
- Lime Juice0.75 oz
- Simple Syrup0.5 oz
- Pinch of Salt1 each
- Ice1.5 cups
Method
- 1.Rim a Collins glass or tumbler with tajín or salt if desired.
- 2.Combine tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and salt in a blender.
- 3.Add ice and blend on high for 15-20 seconds until smooth.
- 4.Pour into the prepared glass.
- 5.Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
Notes
- The salt is not just for the rim — a pinch blended in enhances the grapefruit and tames bitterness.
- Fresh grapefruit juice is strongly preferred over bottled for this drink.
