Method

  1. 1.Rim a Collins glass or tumbler with tajín or salt if desired.
  2. 2.Combine tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and salt in a blender.
  3. 3.Add ice and blend on high for 15-20 seconds until smooth.
  4. 4.Pour into the prepared glass.
  5. 5.Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.

Notes

  • The salt is not just for the rim — a pinch blended in enhances the grapefruit and tames bitterness.
  • Fresh grapefruit juice is strongly preferred over bottled for this drink.
