Frozen Margarita

Frozen · Served frozen in a Rocks glass

Ingredients

Method

  1. 1.Rim a rocks glass or coupe with salt if desired.
  2. 2.Combine tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and agave syrup in a blender.
  3. 3.Add ice and blend on high for 15-20 seconds until completely smooth with no ice chunks.
  4. 4.Pour into the prepared glass.
  5. 5.Garnish with a lime wheel.

Notes

  • The ice ratio is key: too little and it's watery, too much and it's a snow cone. 1.5 cups for a single serve is the sweet spot.
  • For a machine/batch version, increase agave slightly — frozen drinks taste less sweet than stirred ones.
