Frozen Margarita
Frozen · Served frozen in a Rocks glass
Ingredients
- Tequila Blanco2 oz
- Lime Juice1 oz
- Triple Sec0.75 oz
- Agave Syrup0.5 oz
- Ice1.5 cups
Method
- 1.Rim a rocks glass or coupe with salt if desired.
- 2.Combine tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and agave syrup in a blender.
- 3.Add ice and blend on high for 15-20 seconds until completely smooth with no ice chunks.
- 4.Pour into the prepared glass.
- 5.Garnish with a lime wheel.
Notes
- The ice ratio is key: too little and it's watery, too much and it's a snow cone. 1.5 cups for a single serve is the sweet spot.
- For a machine/batch version, increase agave slightly — frozen drinks taste less sweet than stirred ones.
