Ingredients
- Gin1.5 oz
- Campari1.5 oz
- Sweet Vermouth1.5 oz
- Orange Juice0.5 oz
- Simple Syrup0.25 oz
- Ice1.5 cups
Method
- 1.Combine gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, orange juice, and simple syrup in a blender.
- 2.Add ice and blend on high for 15-20 seconds until slushy and uniform.
- 3.Pour into a rocks glass or coupe.
- 4.Garnish with an orange slice.
Notes
- The orange juice and simple syrup are essential for frozen texture — without some sugar and water content, the alcohol prevents proper freezing and you get a grainy slush.
- For batch/machine: combine all ingredients in a 1:1 ratio with water and freeze in a slushie machine or freeze-and-stir method.
- The bitterness of Campari is muted by cold, so the drink tastes softer and more approachable frozen.
