Method

  1. 1.Pour the rosé into a shallow baking pan and freeze for at least 6 hours until slushy — it won't freeze completely solid due to the alcohol.
  2. 2.Scrape the frozen rosé into a blender. Add strawberries, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  3. 3.Blend on high until smooth and thick, about 20-30 seconds.
  4. 4.Pour into wine glasses. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • This recipe makes about 4 servings from one bottle of rosé.
  • Use a dry Provence-style rosé — sweet rosé will make the final drink cloying.
  • Must be served immediately. It melts fast and won't refreeze well.
