Frozen Aperol Spritz Slushie
Frozen · Served frozen in a Wine glass
Ingredients
- Aperol3 oz
- Prosecco3 oz
- Lemon Juice1 oz
- Simple Syrup0.5 oz
- Ice2 cups
Method
- 1.Combine Aperol, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a blender.
- 2.Add ice and blend on high for 15 seconds.
- 3.Add Prosecco and pulse 2-3 times just to incorporate — do not over-blend or you'll lose all the carbonation.
- 4.Pour into a large wine glass.
- 5.Garnish with an orange slice.
Notes
- Add the Prosecco last and pulse gently — you want to keep some fizz in the final drink.
- The frozen version uses more Aperol than the classic 3-2-1 spritz ratio because cold mutes bitterness.
- Best served on a hot day. It melts fast, so drink promptly.
