Ingredients
- Strawberries (hulled500 grams
- Sugar500 grams
- Apple Cider Vinegar375 ml
Method
- 1.Combine strawberries and sugar in a bowl. Muddle gently.
- 2.Cover and refrigerate for 24-48 hours — sugar will draw out juice.
- 3.Strain out fruit solids, pressing gently.
- 4.Add apple cider vinegar to the strawberry syrup, stir well.
- 5.Bottle and refrigerate.
Notes
- Cold-process method preserves bright, fresh flavor.
- Lasts 4-6 weeks refrigerated.
- Excellent in gin drinks, vodka sodas, or as a non-alcoholic mixer with soda.
