Method

  1. 1.Hull and halve strawberries.
  2. 2.Layer strawberries and sugar alternately in a clean jar.
  3. 3.Seal and keep at room temperature for 2-3 days, shaking daily.
  4. 4.Move to refrigerator. Strain liquid after 1 week.

Notes

  • Lasts 2-3 months refrigerated.
  • The fruit solids can be eaten or blended into smoothies.
  • Incredible in gin sours, champagne cocktails, or mixed with soda water.
