Ingredients
- Strawberries (hulled500 grams
- Sugar500 grams
Method
- 1.Hull and halve strawberries.
- 2.Layer strawberries and sugar alternately in a clean jar.
- 3.Seal and keep at room temperature for 2-3 days, shaking daily.
- 4.Move to refrigerator. Strain liquid after 1 week.
Notes
- Lasts 2-3 months refrigerated.
- The fruit solids can be eaten or blended into smoothies.
- Incredible in gin sours, champagne cocktails, or mixed with soda water.
