Paper Plane
Batched Cocktails
Ingredients
- Bourbon0.75 oz
- Aperol0.75 oz
- Amaro Nonino0.75 oz
- Lemon Juice0.75 oz
- Water0.5 oz
Method
- 1.Combine bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and lemon juice.
- 2.If freezing: add water for dilution. Freeze. Pour into a chilled coupe. No garnish needed.
- 3.If shaking to order: omit the water. Shake all ingredients with ice for 10-12 seconds. Fine strain into a chilled coupe. No garnish needed.
Notes
- Frozen batch: the lemon juice will degrade over time — use within 1-2 weeks for best flavor. Dilution water is essential since there's no shaking.
- Shaking to order: no water needed — ice provides dilution and aeration.
- Equal parts spec — easy to scale. The balance is the whole point, so measure precisely.
