Espresso Martini
Batched Cocktails
Ingredients
- Vodka1.5 oz
- Coffee Liqueur0.75 oz
- Espresso1 oz
- Simple Syrup0.25 oz
Method
- 1.Combine vodka, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup in a batch container.
- 2.If freezing: add 0.5 oz water per serving for dilution. Freeze. Pour into a chilled coupe, top with fresh espresso, and garnish with 3 coffee beans.
- 3.If shaking to order: pour one serving over ice, add fresh espresso, shake hard for 12 seconds to build crema. Fine strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with 3 coffee beans.
Notes
- Do not batch the espresso — it must be added fresh per serving for crema and flavor.
- Frozen batch: add dilution water since there's no shaking to dilute. Shelf life 2-3 weeks frozen.
- Shaking to order: no added water needed — ice provides dilution during the shake.
