Method

  1. 1.Trim tough outer leaves from lemongrass. Bruise stalks with back of a knife to release oils.
  2. 2.Cut stalks into 2-inch pieces. Add to vodka in a jar.
  3. 3.Infuse at room temp for 3-4 days.
  4. 4.Strain through fine mesh. Bottle.

Notes

  • Use in Southeast Asian-inspired cocktails, gimlets, or with ginger syrup.
  • Pairs beautifully with lime and coconut.
