  1. 1.Tear fresh kaffir lime leaves along the center vein to release oils.
  2. 2.Combine with vodka in a sealed jar.
  3. 3.Infuse at room temperature for 24-48 hours.
  4. 4.Fine strain. Bottle and refrigerate.

Notes

  • Intense citrus aroma unlike regular lime — floral and perfumed.
  • Perfect in gimlets, highballs, or with coconut.
  • Fresh leaves are essential — dried leaves lack the essential oils.
