Freezer Door Martini (Wet/50-50)
Batched Cocktails
Ingredients
- Gin375 ml
- Dry Vermouth375 ml
- Water170 ml
Method
- 1.Combine gin, vermouth, and water in a bottle.
- 2.Seal and freeze. The higher vermouth content may make it slightly slushy — this is normal.
- 3.Pour directly into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Notes
- Equal parts gin and vermouth — a true 50/50 wet martini.
- Water is required for dilution since it's served straight from the freezer with no stirring.
- The higher vermouth content lowers the ABV, so it may freeze slightly thicker than a dry martini. If too icy, reduce water by ~20ml.
- If stirring to order, omit the water and stir with ice for 25-30 seconds.
