Freezer Door Dirty Martini
Batched Cocktails
Ingredients
- Gin or Vodka750 ml
- Dry Vermouth100 ml
- Olive Brine150 ml
- Water150 ml
Method
- 1.Combine spirit, vermouth, olive brine, and water in a bottle.
- 2.Stir to combine, seal, and freeze.
- 3.Pour straight into a chilled coupe. Garnish with olives.
Notes
- Water provides dilution since the drink isn't stirred with ice. The olive brine also adds some liquid volume, so slightly less water is needed than a clean martini.
- If stirring to order, omit the water. Stir with ice for 25-30 seconds.
- Use quality olive brine — Castelvetrano brine is ideal.
- The salt content from brine lowers the freezing point, so this stays more liquid in the freezer.
- Adjust brine ratio to taste — this is a moderately dirty spec.
