Freezer Door Dirty Martini

Batched Cocktails

Ingredients

Method

  1. 1.Combine spirit, vermouth, olive brine, and water in a bottle.
  2. 2.Stir to combine, seal, and freeze.
  3. 3.Pour straight into a chilled coupe. Garnish with olives.

Notes

  • Water provides dilution since the drink isn't stirred with ice. The olive brine also adds some liquid volume, so slightly less water is needed than a clean martini.
  • If stirring to order, omit the water. Stir with ice for 25-30 seconds.
  • Use quality olive brine — Castelvetrano brine is ideal.
  • The salt content from brine lowers the freezing point, so this stays more liquid in the freezer.
  • Adjust brine ratio to taste — this is a moderately dirty spec.
