Method

  1. 1.Build in a rocks glass: syrup, bitters, fat-washed bourbon.
  2. 2.Add a large ice cube, stir gently.
  3. 3.Garnish with an orange twist.

Notes

  • Infuse bourbon with Benton's bacon fat: 1.5 oz fat per 750ml, rest 4 hrs.
  • Freeze, skim solidified fat, strain through coffee filter.
