Ingredients
- Blended Scotch2 oz
- Lemon Juice0.75 oz
- Honey Ginger Syrup0.75 oz
- Islay Scotch0.25 oz
Method
- 1.Combine blended scotch, lemon, and honey ginger syrup in a shaker with ice.
- 2.Shake hard for 12 seconds.
- 3.Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
- 4.Float the Islay scotch on top by pouring over the back of a barspoon.
- 5.Garnish with candied ginger.
Notes
- Honey ginger syrup: simmer equal parts honey, water, and sliced ginger 20 min, strain.
