Ingredients

Method

  1. 1.Combine rum, lemon juice, syrup, and tea. Stir well.
  2. 2.Heat milk to just warm, then slowly pour the cocktail mix into the milk.
  3. 3.The acid will curdle the milk — this is correct. Do not stir.
  4. 4.Let sit for 1 hour at room temperature, then refrigerate overnight.
  5. 5.Strain through a cheesecloth-lined sieve. Do not press the curds.
  6. 6.Pass through a coffee filter for crystal clarity. Bottle and refrigerate.
  7. 7.Serve chilled, neat or over a single large cube.
