Method

  1. 1.Break cinnamon sticks into pieces.
  2. 2.Combine water and sugar, heat gently until dissolved.
  3. 3.Add cinnamon, bring to a low simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. 4.Remove from heat, let steep 2-4 hours (longer = stronger).
  5. 5.Strain, bottle, and refrigerate.

Notes

  • Lasts 3-4 weeks.
