Ingredients
- Rye Whiskey2 oz
- Simple Syrup0.25 oz
- Peychaud's Bitters3 dashes
- Absinthe0.25 oz
Method
- 1.Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe — discard the excess.
- 2.In a mixing glass, combine rye, syrup, and bitters with ice.
- 3.Stir for 30 seconds.
- 4.Strain into the absinthe-rinsed glass (neat, no ice).
- 5.Express a lemon peel over the drink, discard the peel.
