Rum Runner

Created at the Holiday Isle Tiki Bar in Islamorada, Florida Keys, in the 1950s — designed to use up overstock of rum and liqueurs.
Ingredients
- Dark Rum1 oz
- Blackberry Liqueur1 oz
- Banana Liqueur1 oz
- Orange Juice1.5 oz
- Pineapple Juice1.5 oz
- Grenadine0.5 oz
- Overproof Rum0.5 oz
Method
- 1.Combine dark rum, blackberry liqueur, banana liqueur, juices, and grenadine in a shaker with ice.
- 2.Shake hard for 10-12 seconds.
- 3.Strain into a hurricane glass over crushed ice.
- 4.Float overproof rum on top by pouring over the back of a spoon.
- 5.Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.
