Created by Roland Gruber in 2005 in South Tyrol, Italy, as a lighter alternative to the Aperol Spritz.

Ingredients

Method

  1. 1.Fill a large wine glass with ice.
  2. 2.Pour in the elderflower liqueur and lime juice.
  3. 3.Add Prosecco and top with soda water.
  4. 4.Gently stir once to combine.
  5. 5.Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wheel.

Notes

  • Originally made with elderflower syrup and fresh mint — St-Germain is the modern standard.
