Gin & Tonic

Classic Cocktails · Served tall in a Highball glass

Ingredients

Method

  1. 1.Fill a Copa glass or highball with ice to the top.
  2. 2.Pour gin over the ice.
  3. 3.Slowly pour tonic water down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation.
  4. 4.Gently stir once from bottom to top.
  5. 5.Garnish with a lime wedge or seasonal citrus.

Notes

  • Quality tonic matters enormously — Fever-Tree, Q Tonic, or East Imperial are all excellent choices.
  • The 1:2 spirit-to-tonic ratio keeps the drink balanced without drowning the gin.
